This is going to open up a right old can of worms, isn't it?
Mine is the Thurston Moore / Marco Fusinato collaboration "TM/MF", which was the "soundtrack" to an art installation where Thurston improvised ten one-minute tracks (shoving the guitar against an amp, laying it on the floor, sliding a bottle along the strings), while Fusinato used the "music" as inspiration for ten paintings, each created usng a different medium, within the length of time that the track played. Each of the ten paintings, so far as I can remember, consisted of a large red square. Each of Thurston's improvisations consisted of a fucking racket. I think you probably had to be there. http://www.physicsroom.org.nz/log/archive/12/rhodes/ |

Yeah, I don't know about getting into SY side projects.
Unless there are some absolutely necessary ones that I should pick up? |

Well I'd say TV Shit, even though I like it (I wouldn't say it's the worst, but the "least good"), because I paid 15€ for it (around 18$ I think)

Can we stop with the EJSTNS-bashing, please?
Most of the releases I've bought up to now have been great, though I guess 'The Destroyed Room' was kinda boring. I listened to it in the bath a few times and that was about it. |

Yes, it's one of the better ones. If that one rubs you the wrong way, maybe no side-profjects are for you. |

That would be two tickets to the SY show at the McPool in Brooklyn last Summer. Ended up being on the other side of the United States in Mid-AUGUST and when it became obvious that I wouldn't make the show I mailed my friend back east the tickets which ended up not making it to his mailbox.
Total waste. |
