Before you point it out, I thought about posting this in the Non-Sonic Sounds section of the board, but then I said fuck it, she was an integral part of SYR5, which puts her less than one degree of separation from Sonic Youth, so Sonic Gossip it is.

They gave it to Mary Halvorson when she was 39, and to Ikue 41 years after the MacArthur Fellows Program was founded. I kinda dig the symmetry...
