I think the new release sounds great. I can imagine how the initial feelings of annoyance and betrayal have faded over the last 35+ years.
Never heard the original except for a rip that’s floated around online. Funny, you can hear surface noise on the quieter tracks even on the CD version of the goofin’ reissue. I’m curious how they went about restoring the audio for this. |

I imagine the original tapes are long gone, which is a shame because I'd love to know what the actual complete set lists were.

The sound is good but thurston’s guitar is too low in the mix on the show with Steve. It’s kind of disappointing.
