Lee contributes to 'Bob Dylan: Mixing Up The Medicine'

What did he contribute? Dunno. I bet it's very cool. Gotta have a c-note to find out:

I contributed a piece about a unique record that Dylan recorded with 2 buddies when they were 15+16 years old, made in a recording studio in St. Paul MN on Xmas Eve 1956. As it's the earliest Dylan 'work' written about in the catalog (which is pretty amazing if you are a Dylan fan - and can be found cheaper online, I'm told!), it's the first of these essays in the book. Bob and friends made this vinyl acetate record - a unique single copy - and it's been hid away in a Minnesota attic for many years. I'm told that since the time I wrote the essay it has been sold to a collector in LA, but not sure if that is true or not... One side of the record is covers of early rock songs, the other doo-wop, Bob on piano and singing, with his 2 buddies adding harmonies...

Hey Lee, just in case you're monitoring this thread :): last month Jeff Tweedy plugged Mixing Up The Medicine on his Substack newsletter ("Starship Casual") by posting this cool pic of the books he was reading:
