February 8th,11:30 AM PST 2:30pm ET 7.30pm GMT join hosts Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo and Steve Shelley for a free listening party to celebrate Walls Have Ears. Including an advance listen to the full album and chat with the artists about Sonic Youth and this legendary live release. |
I have received my invite for the bandcamps. I love the weird sound mix on walls have ears (almost as much as beer) so I am apprehensive about the new mix possibly tarnishing the sound with gloss and sheen. I hope it retains the murk. I am ready and stocked up on expensive imported beer for the party. See you there

HEY, how come nobody told me the Thurston Moore Group covered "Real Cool Time" almost a year ago on the Pop's birthday? Damn! I didn't get a notification via Bandcamp either... Maybe because it's a FREE DOWNLOAD? Weird.
